CHROMANCER: The Started Hare LLC Posted project update #8 An Art Update - Check Out These Amazing Pieces!

Hi Chromancer fans,
We're heading into our third day here at PAX, and we've made lots of connections and hopefully some new fans. The convention is going great -- we're in the Indie Megabooth area, alongside many other fellow Indie companies. The environment is wonderful, full of people who are all about fledgling ideas and companies trying to make great games.
The only drawback to having (virtually) the whole team on the showfloor all day, of course, is that we're not more active on our forums and in Kickstarter updates. We will definitely update you all on PAX specifically and what's been happening here pretty soon, and we'll have more playtesting and other content upgrades for next week, but in the meantime we want to give everyone a little treat!
As you know we are incredibly thrilled about our amazing game art (and we really need this Kickstarter campaign to succeed in order to get more of it!) One of our artists, Joshua Calloway, has done an absolutely phenomenal job with our 8 basic field cards. You've already seen two of them in The Workshop over at the site, but we thought we'd put together a Kickstarter update with all eight fields for your viewing pleasure!
Also if you like our art, don't forget to vote in our Facebook poll of Chromancer art (today is your last chance!)
Enjoy!

Final 24- A Bit of Business

We're headed into the last day of the campaign so I thought we should clear a few things up and talk about the post-campaign. People who intend to add to their pledge later should pay SPECIAL ATTENTION.
1. We will send out a survey within two weeks of the completion of the campaign. This will allow you to allocate your pledge dollars as you wish and provide us with all of your contact information. At this point you can also add to your pledge.
2. If you need to pay for some of your pledge via paypal, we will ask you to return the survey with a request for a paypal invoice in the comments section.
3. We will then begin taking "pre-orders" on our soon-to-be-updated website. Initially this will include most if not all options available through this campaign. We will reach a point sometime around November 1 or so where we'll need to shift to pre-order for retail-level only options because we'll be moving into production.

Nintendo Announces 2DS
Nintendo announced the 2DS today, a new entry-level handheld system. The 2DS will be available for $129.99 on October 12th (the same day as Pokemon X and Y) and features a slate-like design rather than the clamshell seen on DS and 3DS models.

CHROMANCER Adaptive Strategy Online Trading Card Game: by The Started Hare LLC Update #7 · Aug 27, 201

We've Added More Prizes to our Reward Tiers!

Dear friends,
We've been chatting with a lot of our backers and potential backers about the reward tiers, and have listened to your suggestions. We spent some time trying to figure out how best to reward our early adopters -- to figure out what would make sense both for adopters and for the health of the game economy when we launch.
We are pleased to announce two things:
First, we are introducing a new limited edition Kickstarter set of cards to Chromancer. This set, called Kickstarter Exclusive, consists of all the same cards in our 300-card release set, but with special and unique card design. Theonly way to get cards from this set will be to be a Kickstarter backer. Once Kickstarter is over, we will not create any more copies of this set! The cards will be tradable like everything else, but of course will increase in value over time. Note that all of the already-existing rewards still include cards from our regular set, The Primeval™. The Kickstarter Exclusive cards are only available in the Kickstarter Exclusive booster packs being added to every tier as explained below.

72 hours until Event Horizon and a New Deal

Breaking update title protocol :-)
So, here we are, at a new beginning. Our campaign has been in continual evolution since day 1. We, the uninitiated, made alot of mistakes, in large part due to our risk-averse position. Please know that we are not a big game company. We are just two guys: Jim Bailey and John Roberts . Our personal money and the financial security of our families are on the line here. The number we need to hit to feel secure personally for everything previously on offer is 155k. We're close enough to that as of the last couple of days to begin to take some real risks. That's good news for all of you :-)
We are doing two things, effective now:

【Project Phoenix】 Japan's indie RPG feat. AAA talent! by Creative Intelligence Arts, Inc.: Some stuff on the side... Update #11

Today's Kickstarter and Paypal total
Kickstarter $624,594
Paypal $7,582
Total $632,176
An update not related to Project Phoenix
I'd like to show everyone what I do besides being the Director and Producer for Phoenix, and what I'm capable of delivering with the people I work with. This is a promotional video for the game "Majin Station" by LEVEL 5. The animation is done by the same studio that does the Evangelion films, Khara (they are basically the same people from GAINAX who has taken over production of the series), and I co-ordinated, supervised and directed the music and SFX. The music is done by our very own Tomoki Miyoshi who will also be taking part with Project Phoenix.

Alum - (Atmospheric Point&Click Adventure)

A point&click adventure game with a mature "RPGesque" storyline. An atmospheric quest of epic proportions!
Our vision is to make an all new point and click adventure game with the same feel and vibe as some of the classic games we love (Quest for Glory, Roger Wilco, Monkey Island, etc..) but with our own "Epic" twist. Were using the same "old-school" resolution as those games
