What is the Future of Gaming?!

What is in store for the future of gaming, what else can be done, what more does this industry have to offer us? Is it merely a console and controls or is it virtual reality? Maybe both, or a combination of both. Perhaps there is something new altogether waiting to be discovered a whole new way of playing games. If so then what would it be, a way to play games without a console or maybe without a control both very hard to believe but surely must be somewhat possible. The question isn't what should we do but more so what will we do? What level of imagination will we put into the future of gaming and how much will we choose to make it a reality? At what point will gaming take a breath away beyond belief?
